Splitting and Trimming Video Clips in Kroto

This tutorial will demonstrate how to efficiently split and trim video clips in the Kroto's video editor.

Begin by opening your video editor in Kroto.

You will notice a green timeline in the video editor's interface, this represents our video clip.


To remove or trim specific parts of the video, utilize Kroto's Split and Delete clip feature.

However, there are certain restrictions. You cannot split a sentence midway. Sentence are represented as White Waveforms on the green timeline rectangle with black lines as borders.

To split a clip position your cursor accordingly by clicking on timeline.

Then, click on the Split video clip button. This action will divide your video clip at that point.

After splitting, you can delete unwanted clips by selecting the respective clip and hitting the Delete clip button to remove it from your video.

When sentences are removed from your timeline, your transcripts will update in real-time, ensuring consistency.
